Out Of Nothing is a short non-fiction film that parallels Native American creation stories with the contemporary scientific explanation of the origin of the Universe – both trying to explain how something was born out of nothing. Through the telling of the creation stories Native American tribes inhabiting the Eastern Coast of the United States, and the scientific explanation of the Big Bang illustrated by the cutting edge experiments taking place at the Long Island Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider, the film peers into the age old and fundamental question of each civilization: Where and how did we come into being?
